A will is crucial!
While most people recognize the importance of having a will, a large percentage never get around to preparing one. Even those who have a will may not realize that it is out of date due to changes in family circumstances or changes in regulations.
An outdated will can be almost as bad as no will at all. If you fall into either the "no will" or the "outdated will" camp, don't delay, because when it comes to not having a will – or having an outdated will and other estate planning documents (durable power of attorney, medical directive), when it's too late, it is truly too late.
